Reporting directly to the Farm Manager, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair work to our fleet of vessels and marine operations equipment and assets. The position will be based at our Whyalla Farm Operatons and travel may be required to other sites across the Eyre Peninsula.

The Maintenance Technician will work collaboratively with our operational teams to resolve technical challenges and develop innovative solutions to problems, providing safe and reliable equipment across Clean Seas marine operations. We are seeking candidates with an appropriate Trade Certificate and a proven background in a similar Maintenance role, preferably in the Aquaculture or Fishing industries.

Clean Seas is currently looking for a highly motivated MED 2 to play a pivotal role in the day-to-day safe and efficient operation of our Aquaculture vessels and harvesting operations at our Fitzgerald Bay, Whyalla Farm.

This role is responsible for all mechanical equipment, as well as pre-starts, shutdowns, and daily maintenance. Clear communication, physical fitness, and the ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines are essential pre-requisites for the role.
